Schedule

10:00 – 10:20 Registration and yoga warm-up

10:20 – 11:30 David will share perspectives on kihon happo – tenryaku, chiryaku (& the “spirit” of jinryaku)

11:30 – 11:40 Water break

11:40 – 12:50 Michael will share the concept of 力を抜くchikara o nuku recently thought by Hatsumi Sensei

12:50 – 1:50 Lunch break, please bring lunch/water bottle with you. Water fountain and restrooms available

1:50 – 3:00  Adrian will share Kukishinden Ryu  – Okuden

DIRECTIONS

From the South (LA, North Beverly Drive) Take Beverly Drive north, RIGHT to Franklin Canyon Drive, get into Franklin Canyon Park and follow the road until you get a sharp RIGHT turn to Lake Drive (almost U turn). Drive south on Lake Dr. pass Franklin Canyon Ranch. Just before Lake Drive ends on your left there’s a big meadow with a parking lot and restroom -you are  there! If you get to the closed gate you just passed us.

From the North (Mulholland and Coldwater at the “Tree People junction”) At the light, turn into Franklin Canyon Drive and follow it, at first it is residential then it turns into the road that takes you to the Park’s northern entrance. Enter the park and keep driving down Franklin Canyon Dr. pass the upper reservoir on your left. At the second stop sign turn RIGHT with the road (follow the sign: exit to Beverly Dr). Keep going on Franklin Canyon Dr. Turn LEFT on Lake Drive.  Drive south on Lake Dr. pass Franklin Canyon Ranch. Just before Lake Drive ends on your left there’s a big meadow with parking lot and restroom -you are  there! If you get to the closed gate you just passed us.
